Life as a mature student has been a worthwhile and rewarding experience.
Since being at the University Student Union Board, I have come across lots of issues faced by many students at the University.
Ever since my school days I have always come to the aid of others in their difficult times.
I want to work with the University Management Board to resolve any issues arise.
From my past experience I am well equipped to negotiate good deal on your behalf.

"HeyHey! Soo..we've got ourselves a fresh batch of Campus Committee members for UCO and I'm one of them! Yayy! :D My name is Nazmin Sultana and I'm currently on my second year on the BA Business Management course...so far so good!
I ran for this position because I wanted to make UCO a more student orientated environment in terms of the social and networking aspects. That is why I plan on working with my colleagues and SU staff to create space for a common room for you guys to do what you do best! BE LAZY AND AVOID ASSIGNMENTS! haha ok, besides that appealing aspect of having a common room, its always a good oppertunity to meet others from different courses and get to know what they all abouts :) I also plan on encouraging individuals to join student societies or if you've got it in you--BUILD YOUR OWN! YepYep guys! if you have an idea for a society, voice it and the UCO SU will do all they can to fund it and get the society up and running for you! it's as easy as that! My aim is to generally get you all to enjoy uni here at UCO and look back on things you got up to besides attending lectures and stressing over deadline dates!
As your committee member I intend on making some changes for you so, any suggestions? BRING IT!

I am a mature student (technically!!!) and married with children, one of whom is in his final year at uni. as a member of the campus committee I want to get students to get involved in how things are run at their campus. I believe that the students should get more politically active again rather than sitting back and taking whatever is thrown at them without any comment. I hope to encourage this activism and involvement within our campus. I will always be available to any student who needs to speak to me and will stand up for their rights should it be required and appropriate.
