The Campus Committee is made up of a chair and 3 elected members. The Committee for 09/10 are JP Austin, Bruce Desmond and Vijay Bhutada.
“For my term in office this year I intend on putting on a few charity events to help the local community and to improve the status of the University Campus Barnsley.
One example is that I am currently in the process of trying to book the 1st ever Student vs. Tutors football match for children in need, I am hoping to make this an annual event so that students and tutors have something to look forward, while booking this event I have looked for ways to give my fellow students extracurricular work.
Currently I am studying on the second year of Digital film and visual effects, in the summer I help to get film crew for a local music festival and I am always looking to help out good reliable students.
I am also looking to improve the student common room by decorating it by adding art work and maybe a few band posters, also I have been looking into making more Campus based events to make the student experience more enjoyable”

Hello everybody!
My motive will be to encourage students for different events and functions. Because I have found that nobody is interested for participation & socializing over here. My other very main motive will be: to invite our University’s Respected Chancellor Mr. Patrick Stewart at UCB for the Master Lectures on Entertainment field. Because, most of the studies at the UCB are related to the Entertainment field such as music, film, animation, vfx... And as we all know that he is a very well known actor in the Entertainment field, his Master lectures will prove very beneficial for the students. I believe that every student will be very enthusiastic to attend his lectures. And this will surely bring a great development and confidence among the students.
Now I ask you to support my motives in any possible way. And you are always welcome to tell me your problems faced as a student; I will try my best to look at the problem. And any idea towards development is welcomed...
