Whether you would like to represent the University, or fancy trying a new sport, joining a club is a great way to make new friends from different courses and get active.

So if you’re mad about football, crazy about golf or would like to net a few hoops, now is your chance!

All Sports clubs are open for anyone to join or create, regardless of age, gender, race, ethnic origin or sexual orientation.

Sports clubs are run by students for students. The Union will give you guidance and financial support allowing you to make your club top notch getting as many other students involved as possible.

To join a sports club you will need to fill out the online membership form and pay a small fee and start taking part. Below are the current sports clubs that are available in Barnsley you can join.
