Firewalk for Charity

3rd June 2010 9:02 am

Would you walk on Hot Coals for the Society for the Blind of Dewsbury Batley and District?

Would you like to build your confidence and self-esteem? Do you want to overcome limiting beliefs? How incredible would it be to conquer your fears? The world would be your oyster after this experience!!

The chance to walk on 20’ of wood embers burning at 1236 degrees Fahrenheit might not appeal to everyone, but it is the chance of a lifetime and something you will always remember!

Perhaps family and friends might also be interested in taking on this challenge of a life-time? Walkers from 16-18 years old must have a parental consent form, but there is no upper age-limit!

This is a fantastic way to support the Society for the Blind as every walker will need to raise a minimum of £120 sponsorship. All walkers will receive a motivational psychology ‘Fear Buster’ seminar, designed to equip them with the resources to walk over the coals unharmed.

So the date for your diary is Saturday 18th September from 6pm.
