 Yoga for a healthy and stress free life

The program is aimed at anyone who wishes to live a healthier life and manage their stress. No previous experience of yoga is needed. The physical practises are attainable by most people. There is no competitive element and alternative and modified variations are explained if necessary. Yoga works on both the body and the mind simultaneously and can be very beneficial in the alleviation of the symptoms
 and problems of stress and stress related ailments.

Yoga encourages a tranquil, calm mind which enables clear thinking and promotes a feeling of inner peace. It can improve concentration and help to control feelings and emotions and so enabling students to achieve a state of mental calm. This feeling is built on in the guided relaxation and simple meditation practises.

Sessions will be taking place EVERY Monday at 2pm in the Oldham lecture theatre SG1 (next to reception).
