Hope for Children is a charity currently working in over 30 countries worldwide offering assistance to those who need it most. They aim to help orphaned, poor, exploited and disabled children around the world (including the UK). This is achieved through providing, promoting and advancing children’s rights to and access to basic necessities, including education and health care, aimed at sustaining their long term development.
They are hosting an event this May called DanceAid. It is a national event uniting dance with charity, culminating in DanceAid Week from the 9th to the 15th May. It is aimed at everybody- whether they dance every week at school, in a class, for exercise, with friends in the living room, or on the podium of a nightclub, this is a opportunity to have some fun while raising money for an incredible cause.
If you're interested in getting involved with the event, through a themed party, bucket collections, promoting to your dance lessons, and so on, just come up to the iZone to find out more, or look on www.danceaid.org.uk
