Do I need a passport photograph for my NUS card?
If you're a new student starting this year you won't need a passport photo for a NUS democracy card as your campus card will disply the NUS logo. However, if you want an NUS Extra card you'll need to upload a photo onto your computer to apply for one. For more information visit: http;www.nusextra.co.uk
What time does the safety bus run?
It starts at 6pm and finishes at 1am during the week. At weekends it starts at 7pm, finishing at 1am on Saturdays and Midnight on Sundays.
Will the safety bus take me to Halifax?
Journeys over 6 miles are at the drivers discretion. If the bus isn't too busy the driver may decide to take you, but bear in mind the turnaround time for people waiting for the bus.
Can I bring my friend, who isn't a student at the university, into the Students' Union?
Each member is entitled to sign in one guest. The guest must have photographic i.d and proof of age if using The Venue. It costs £1 to sign a guest in. If the guest is a student at another university and they have their university i.d. on them, they can use our services free of charge.
