The Students’ Union very own newspaper will have a new appearance this year (to go with the whole new SU summer revamp!) and we hope you like it as much as we do!
Benjamin Hall, the 2009/2010 elected Newspaper Editor, and Zeshan Iqbal, your elected Communications officer, are really excited to be working on the paper and to introduce you to the new format.
Zeshan explains ‘When the Examiner said they no longer wanted a physical newspaper, only an online version, the SU decided to take matters into their own hands and save the day. We hope you like the new size, its very user friendly; you can throw it in your bag or even have it rolled up in your back pocket!’
The first edition will be available from Monday 14th September, which will also include a 4 page Freshers pull out special! Pick it up from the Students’ Union, Halls of Residence and various outlets in the town centre.
