
The University of Huddersfield Students’ Union Advice & Information Centre mission is to provide Students’ Union members with support and advice on welfare related matters.
The Centre aims to promote and enhance such support and advice by providing an independent service from the University of Huddersfield.
In order that the Student Advice and Information Centre can maintain such support and advice services, all actions taken are based upon impartiality, professionalism and confidentiality.
The role of the Centre is to provide free, confidential, impartial and non-judgemental advice on a range of welfare related topics to the students of the University of Huddersfield.

The Student Advice and Information Centre shall operate in a manner which is beneficial to team work and with an emphasis on the sharing of knowledge. Through the Students’ Union Executive Committee, the Centre shall represent students’ views and concerns, whilst seeking advice and support provided by external agencies and individuals.
Whilst maintaining a service role of advice and support, the University of Huddersfield Student Advice and Information Centre shall be equally concerned with initiatives which enhance students’ rights via the campaigning and representation role provided by the Students’ Union Executive.
